‘Wax Of The Week’ this week is ‘Skynet U.K. – Holdin’ On (Skynet UK Dub Mix)’. The man behind this late 90s Trance track was Ian Widgery. He has worked for major artists such as U2, David Bowie, Human League and Faithless, spanning major international labels such as EMI, Virgin and Sony with his production / remixes in excess of 3 million sales. His work under Skynet U.K. received DJ support from prominent names in the dance music scene such as Pete Tong, Sasha and Paul Oakenfold. He now resides in North Vancouver where he runs an ice cream shop called Welcome Parlour Ice Cream.
